Coaching
We work with individuals who want to think more clearly, make better decisions and develop the inner resources needed to thrive in today’s complex and demanding world.
Our coaching combines years of business experience with formal training to help people grow. We focus on building self-awareness, resilience, self-belief and long-term capability so the impact lasts well beyond the sessions themselves.
We are members of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC-UK) and commonly support people with:
• Transitioning into the workplace and career progression
• Gaining career clarity and direction
• Taking on a new role or leadership position
• Developing confident professional communication
• Handling pressure, expectations and change
Our approach is reflective, supportive and grounded in the belief that people already hold many of the answers within themselves.
This is built on strong foundations of empathy, positive regard and authenticity in how we work with you.
“I always enjoying meeting with Graham, somehow he manages to ask those kinds of questions that get me properly thinking and reflecting. His experience is one thing, but perhaps, more his manner - that’s what makes it work”
Family Business DirectorThere are lots of coaching models out there, but we like to keep things simple and human.
We’ll talk about what you want, take a thoughtful look at where you currently are, explore possible ways forward and then we move ahead.
Our coaching partnership will be tailored to your goals. You might already have these defined and front of mind, sometimes they change as our journey evolves and other times they are vague, hazy and need pinning down.
Practically, our journey together will be based around the following stages:
We have an initial “getting to know you” discussion, this is really about chemistry but also covers; your goals, the process, timings and fees.
If and when we are both happy to proceed, we share a simple coaching agreement capturing all we have discussed.
We then meet for our discussions - typically 6 sessions of an hour each, held fortnightly - all of this will be agreed upfront and is flexible to suit busy schedules.
We will regularly review progress together ensuring we are both happy and benefiting - we might agree that adjustments to direction or duration are beneficial - for example.
At some point our sessions will come to an end, but you’ll carry on your journey with more clarity, confidence and the tools you need to continue moving forward.
“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”
Carl Rogers, 1961.
